Website design colour schemes.
Here I have chosen three website designs to identify key colours from using the eyedropper tool on adobe illustrator. From this I was able to develop my own pieces of typography using adjectives that I felt were suitable for that particular web design's colour scheme.

For this particular piece of typography (inspired by the Beyond Retro web design colour scheme) I have chosen an elegant font for which I feel represents the word 'vintage' very well due to the associations that are linked to the past being very sophisticated and refined. I chose to arrange the yellow colour on top of the navy as the dark backing will not only ground the typography but help the yellow font stand out more. By overlapping the two words it has created a 3-dimensional effect that makes the word more engaging to the viewers.

For this piece of typography, created from the colour scheme of the Tumblr website, I have chosen a very simple font to depict the actual emotion. I have composed the typography by converting the font into a vector image then added a subtle colour gradient, using the eyedropper tool to select colours from the websites design colour scheme. I think this piece of typography is successful as the blue colour gradient helps to create that calm atmosphere and relates very well to the style of the website.
For this piece of typography I have chosen a large bold font in order to add emphasis to the word. I have chosen to use a colour gradient on each individual letter of the word to ensure that each one is eye catching and relates to the colour scheme of the original website design (AMC/Breaking Bad), again, these colours were selected using the eyedropper tool after converting the font to a vector image so that i could input the gradient.
